I thought the Meilland rose was lemon flushed with pink - even the sports are more yellow
This rose changed color almost uniquely as it dried. It even retained its shape. The chicago peace species is pale yellow with reddish highlights at peak. This interpretation is meant to bring out the structure of the rose. The original rose photo was dark also.
