Thanks John, this was one I converted 100% in Studio and although the conversion and color sensitivity should be a little more refined the fact that you have access to the other Adjustments makes it an interesting proposition … especially using the Curves & HSL where you can change the contrast, hues, saturation, luminance before you do the conversion. Also the use of blending modes on the Adjustments before the B&W Conversion makes for interesting conversion results.
Very nice capture, what lens did you use? It looks like a wide angle shot which I think adds to the mysterious atmosphere…
Thanks Kenneth, yes it was a EF16-35mm f2.8L II USM @ 16mm on the 5DsR … I still think that it was the best wide angle zoom Canon made … crisp and sharp across the range and has excellent optical performance only surpassed by the III …
