Took this shot as the driver was lining up his 55 Chevy at a car show last year. When I looked up the year of this Chevy, the car was listed under the category of Chevy gasser? Maybe Bob or someone else can explain why they call it a Gasser? I know some car enthusiast modify their cars in many ways, as you can see this one has much of its chrome features removed... like the bumpers and hood ornaments etc.
I made this comp using a separate background image (The Garage) and the car which I masked out of the original image:
Background PP... Used Simplify and added highlights with some masking to brighten up & darken some areas of the garage. Then added another layer to add highlights to the overhead lights in the garage.
Car PP... Used Adjust on the car and added the car shadow. Then added my bling highlight effects to the headlights, turn signals, car roof, front bumper bar, and 2 area's on the car hood. I also added a gradient to the car windshield to tone it down.
