Just from a cursory glance at this image I would never attempt to replace the background using any tool. Some images just aren’t suited for background replacement and blend too much into the background to know exactly where the subject ends and the background begins. I can’t tell where the fur ends and the background begins on this image, so I can’t expect a software program to do it. Unfortunately, sometimes a favorite photo with a terrible background falls into this category. In such cases I resort to simply blurring the background.
