I don’t sell my photography…took it up too late in life to want to go that route.
However, somewhat like @Michigander, I did art/craft shows. Only crafts (knit, crochet, macrame, wood). I did my own wood cutting - mainly small items (Christmas ornaments etc. sold very well) - and painting. Sold quite a lot, but kept my prices down more than I likely should have.
Husband was the best salesman as he always had a smile and the ladies loved it. But he also has a wicked sense of humor. When one lady commented that it was nice that he did the woodwork and his wife the needlework, he said, “oh no, she doesn’t let me use the saw. I do the crocheting!” (Only the 1st part of that quote is true!
