Border Crossing, Portugal/Spain

Before leaving Porto Portugal, we rented a car with an onboard GPS system – which we fondly referred to as Tonto. Even with Tonto’s assistance we had a tough time getting from point A to point B without incident – especially on our way to Pinhao in the Douro River Valley. There was a point in time along the way where I wound up going into a remote café where very limited English was spoken. It was here we wound up drawing a map on a napkin to get better directions. But as soon (the very second) as we crossed into Spain, Tonto went tits up. The module for Spain had not been installed. Anyway, this digital rendering is documentation of me thinking “What the …?” The story continued when, amazingly, we finally arrived in Pontevedra, but I’ll save that for another time.
