Interesting shot! The detail is great! It is worth noting that Daguerre made images on polished brass plates, While Talbot used paper negatives. So Daguerreotypes were actually negatives and somewhat difficult to view if the light if it was not ideal, Talbot used paper to produce negatives that were printed on a separate sheet of paper. My vote goes to Talbot.
