Bugs DNG files Lightroom Classic stripping exported jpeg files

Discovered recently and appears to be since the latest Photo Ai update, that all files I process that are then saved as DNG, later processed with Lightroom Classic and saved as Jpegs most of the Metadata is stripped, same files saved as Tiff or Png have all Metadata. If I do not process that same file through Topaz Ai and then processed in same method from original Raw file none of the Metadata is stripped. Lightroom have not seen anybody else reporting similar issues, so now I am thinking this is a Topaz bug related since last upgrade.

Update 7.11 PM 28.3: Further to raising this I have been testing various methods to see if this problem continues and I believe I have found the answer to my problem. Within Topaz Ai “Preferences” there is a section called Export/ Use Adobe DNG SDK for export - this was Enabled on my current version.

I disabled this and processed several files through Topaz Photo Ai and non had the issues with stripping Jpeg files after processing the DNG file through LrC and exporting as Jpeg.

I then enabled this setting and processed several files again exported as DNG to LrC and processed and Exported as Jpeg and Metadata was missing.

Can someone please look at this and advise.

Let’s try updating you to the most recent version, v2.4.2, to see if this resolves the issue.

Please make sure you’ve also turned off any firewall, VPN, or proxy that may be on your computer. These are known to block the installation. Also, make sure there are no settings or configurations in your OS system that could interfere.
