Winows in-app update still broken

Install ends with popup that log can not be found or written to.

Please make sure you’ve also turned off any firewall, VPN, or proxy that may be on your computer. These are known to block the installation.

Also, make sure no settings configuration in your Windows system could interfere.

Try using the following link to update: Topaz Photo AI | Windows Installer

Hi John,

No firewall, vpn or proxy on this machine. Install from in-app update
appears to work just fine until
it hits finish. It is then that one gets the popup advising the logfile
must be present and writable.
GigaPixel etc update just fine. Install from msi works ok.
I just tried your link, and that will only allow me to [repair] and I do
not currently have an older version
(<2.4.2) install file. The repair btw finishes correctly.
Curiously, the Logs directory for Photo AI contains no files later than
2024-01-31 in spite of the repair
I just ran… copy of dir contents attached.

Hi John,

Attached file directory in acceptable format…

logs.txt (1.15 KB)

John, the problem still persists in the last release, even after removal and re-install.
